Visionwest

Rotary New Lynn have been helping Visionwest for many years.  Being a charity organisation on our own back yard helps us to support them.  From raising money and supplying them with a chiller unit to keep milk and meat cool for their food box’s, to money for a truck to help transport food box’s and other goods, and even Christmas gifts and canned food.

Visionwest aims to create pathways for vulnerable whānau to rise out of poverty, isolation, homelessness, and joblessness by providing comprehensive wraparound services. Our wraparound support includes food support, budgeting and financial mentoring, housing, counselling, in-home healthcare for older people and those with disabilities, educational programmes for young people, and early childhood education. We provide support services in West Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Canterbury. Our Vision is Transformed Lives, Healthy Communities – He Oranga Tangata, He Oranga Hapori – and, each year, we support around 60,000 people on their journey to a transformed life.
